Key Achievements

As Senior Program Director at NAB, Kevin led a performance review of a transformation program for NAB Merchant Services. The review was for a multi-year program and included value delivered, governance approach, delivery procedures and tools, business change, and team culture. Outcome of the review provided recommendations for how to accelerate program completion and value realisation.


As Transformation Program Delivery Lead at Telstra, Kevin was responsible for delivering and maintaining a multi-year Customer Care and Billing transformation program. This included the creation of new consolidated ordering, pricing, and invoicing capabilities across all retail products, services, and customers, and the migration of customers and data from multiple existing systems. He was accountable for managing a project budget of $80-$100 million per annum over 7 years, overseeing a team of 800-1200 people across Australia and India.


As Account Technology Lead at NAB, Kevin was accountable for the technology delivery of multiple projects for NAB across Australia and India. The primary role was to lead the multi-year Core Banking transformation program, based on Oracle software. The work included program management, production application support, environment support, end-to-end functional testing, and interface development in support of NAB’s transformation program. Kevin was accountable for managing an account level budget of $60-80 million per annum over 2.5 years, overseeing a team of 300-400 people across Australia and India.


As Technology Lead at Westpac, Kevin provided oversite and governance for the technology delivery of Westpac’s Customer Service Hub transformation program, based on Oracle software. This included program management, requirements definition, application design, environment support, end-to-end functional testing, and interface development. Kevin was accountable for overseeing an account level budget of $40-50 million per annum over 3 years, and a team of 200-300 people across Australia and India.


As Technology Lead at CBA, Kevin provided oversite and governance for a managed services program in support of CBA’s Core Banking Platform, based on SAP software. This system supported all of CBA’s retail customer base. Kevin was accountable for overseeing an account level budget of $20-30 million per annum over 3.5 years, and a team of approximately 100 people across Australia and India.


As Technology Lead at Macquarie Bank, Kevin provided oversite and governance for the technology delivery of multiple projects and managed services for Macquarie. The primary projects included production support of their SAP based Core Banking platform, system implementation of several SalesForce based applications, and systems implementation of an nCino application. Kevin was accountable for overseeing an account level budget of $10-15m per annum over 3.5 years, and a team of 50-100 people across Australia, India and the Philippines.


As Technology Lead at QBE Insurance, Kevin provided oversite and governance for a managed services program in support of QBE’s portfolio of legacy applications for their ANZ geography. Kevin was accountable for overseeing an account level budget of $10-15 million per annum over 3.5 years, and a team of 50-100 people across Australia and India.


As Technology Lead at AMP Insurance, Kevin provided oversite and governance for a systems implementation program based on SalesForce software. Kevin was accountable for overseeing an account level budget of $10-15 million per annum over 2 years, and a team of approximately 50 people across Australia and India.


As Technology Lead at PEXA, Kevin provided oversite and governance for multiple projects and managed services for PEXA. The primary projects included production support of their legacy applications, and system implementation of their mobile application. Kevin was accountable for overseeing an account level budget of $10-15m per annum over 3.5 years, and a team of approximately 50 people across Australia and the Philippines


As Technology Delivery Lead for the Oracle Business Group in Australia and New Zealand, Kevin had overall delivery accountability for the portfolio of all program and project delivery work of Oracle SaaS based system implementations for clients in the ANZ geography. The role also included closing out inherited contracts obtained via an acquisition and training of inherited personnel. He was accountable for managing a portfolio level budget of $200-220 million per annum for 3 years, overseeing a team of 300-400 people across Australia, India and Philippines. This role was more focused on rescuing acquired projects and closing them out. They were primarily enterprise level, Oracle ERP based projects at small to medium sized businesses and government entities in Australia and New Zealand, including Stratco, Colonial First State, Sekisui House, Australian Super, Ministry of Social Development (New Zealand), and Blue Shield.


As Account Delivery Lead for Optus, Kevin was accountable for the technology delivery of multiple projects for Optus. The primary role was to rescue and refocus Optus’ Digital Transformation program. This program was to develop customer facing, retail ordering applications based on a SalesForce platform. This program had CEO level visibility and reporting to both the Optus and the primary supplier CEOs. Kevin oversaw the work of approximately 100 FTEs across Australia and the Philippines.


As Global Transitional Program Director at Cover More Group, Kevin transitioned the global delivery lead function from Australia to the UK. During the transition, he included program management of a portfolio of projects across APAC, North America, and Europe with a budget of $2 million and a team of 15 people.
