Key Achievements:

As PMO Support at Australian Business Volunteers, Catherine’s role was to aid in enhancing the PMO’s capability in managing a growing portfolio. She assisted in stakeholder interviews, review of artefacts and tools, and identification of key strengths and opportunities. The insights gathered were analysed to develop the initial findings report and proposed recommendations. Further, Catherine contributed to the build of templates and artefacts with focus on resource management, pipeline management, portfolio management, and program reporting.

As Graduate at Seven Consulting, Catherine is completing the Graduate program, specifically designed to enhance core Project Management skills of individuals with expertise in their individual professional fields. Throughout the graduate program, she will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge on various aspects of project management through engaging sessions and exercises led by domain experts. The program will play a crucial role in developing her skills and boosting her confidence levels in utilising PM tools such as MS Project and JIRA, along with mastering techniques and soft skills. Catherine will also have the opportunity to work on Project 7 alongside other consultants where she will be exposed to project risks, issues, and constraints, as well as learning effective ways to manage them.

As a Performance Marketing Analyst for Balsam Brands Inc., Catherine managed the brand’s account, monitored performance, and made optimizations to achieve the set goals of the brand. She also conducted data analysis periodically to create reports with insights on how to continue improving account performance. The role primarily focused on driving traffic through PPC channels on Google and Bing, creating and editing ads and ad copies on PPC and paid social channels, working with cross-functional teams for alignment, coordination, and completion of tasks.

As a HUGO BOSS Branding and Research Strategy Extern under Paragon One, Catherine conducted primary customer research to evaluate perceptions of brand expression and strategy. She also conducted a comparative analysis to evaluate position & engagement strategies with target audiences. With her findings, she developed potential strategies to increase omnichannel traffic. These were collated into a concise presentation highlighting insights and providing data-driven recommendations.

As Evaluations Head for Ateneo Special Education society, Catherine conducted surveys and FGD’s with event participants and volunteers regarding the projects of the organisation. The collected data was then collated and analysed to look for potential areas of improvement for future projects. These findings were also presented to organisation’s executive board and project heads.

As a Project Head for Bangon Banaba, Catherine started a youth-led fundraising initiative with her classmates that aimed to provide relief for the families affected by Typhoon Ulysses in Banaba, San Mateo, Rizal. She oversaw monitoring the monetary donations and how they were allocated. She also planned and created posts for their social media campaign, as well as networked with other charities that could aide in Bangon Banaba’s mission.

As an Internal Communications Head for Ateneo Special Education Society, Catherine oversaw proofreading, scheduling, and posting promotional material on different platforms. She ensured that these would not overlap or overwhelm the target audience. She also wrote the spiels posted on social media for Recruitment Week initiatives to entice potential members to join the organisation.

As a Production Subhead for the Ateneo Management Association’s Entrep Bazaar, Catherine aided the Production Head with planning and creating the event’s interior décor. She also aided in the ingress of the event which involved event setup and resolving any last-minute production issues before the event.

As a Compensation and Benefits Trainee at Creotec Philippines Inc., Catherine computed the findings for the accounting and operations department. She was also assigned to collate her and her team’s findings into a slideshow that she would present to their facilitator. Through the experience, she learned valuable time management, business, and presentation skills.
